Steven Universe is a fantastic show. All the Crystal Gems are awesome and I totally identify with Connie's character.

I think a lot of Buffy's credit goes to Whedon when in fact there's a lot of Sarah and the other writers and directors in her as well.

Same with the LoTR films, focus more on the fact that it's both being written by two women (Boyens and Walsh), and narrated by perhaps greatest female cinematic narrators: Queen Blanchett!

Another bunch are Queen Hippolyta (going back to Marston's Wonder Woman in the 40s, subverting the macho male definitions of heroism represented by Hercules), Gail Simone's Red Sonja, and ofc Xena.
