Finally! Now I understand why the acceleration is zero in the x direction! And even, I should have put it together on my own, now I understand why that means the x direction velocity stays the same too!

When finding time the ball remains in the air the formula should be y=ut-1/2g(t*t).... therefore the answer will be 3.09s

I dont get why g=-9.81 ? if its moving downwards cuz of gravitational acceleration, shouldnt it be +9.81 ?
