I suppose it is semantics, but division is not allowed in matrices. What you are really doing is multiplying by the inverse. i.e. 4*1/4=1

btw, you can use the adjoint method to solve with a^-1 = 1/(ad-bc) * (first row is d and -b, second row is -c and a)

using 1/det(A) * Adj(A) was really tedious and very easy to make simple mistakes thanks so much

If 2nd row subtracted by -1 then 2nd row is
0, 3|-1, 0
After this, if 2nd row divided by 3 then 2nd row is
0, 1|-1/3, 0
Then result matrix is 1/2, 0 and-1/3, 0 this is not correct answer if inverse
