for those confused, he simply rationalized the denominator, which means getting rid of the radical by multiplying the top and bottom by cube root 2 so he can get an 8 in the denominator which simplifies perfectly to 2 because cube root of 8 is 2. remember to multiply radicals you have to have like radicals.

First of all, I appreciate all of your videos. Now with the content of it, I just want to clarify when you rationalized the denominator as well as nominator. You added 2 next to X, and I just wonder why? Can you give me your reason. Thanks in advance!
