I got to visit Katra in 1968. I lived in Mumbai and New Delhi with my family. Our driver asked if he could take me and his family to see his guru in Punjab. Our final destination was Katra and Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir. I remember saying Jai Mata Di to everyone we passed. Katra smelled of pure ghee from the breakfasts being served. Thanks for posting this.
