Great cover! It was an awesome tune when it came out. I begged and got the 45 for Christmas. What almost nobody knows, however, is that Willy was not a little boy, but a stray cat that used to hang around when the band was practicing. He was the only one that wasn't scared of the loud music. That's why Mama done chased Willy down through the hall. He wouldn't leave! This song is still being covered today, about a cat who's been dead for almost fifty years.
