AWS Transfer Family - Simple and seamless file transfer using SFTP, FTPS, and FTP

The AWS Transfer Family makes it easy to migrate File Transfer Protocol over SFTP, FTPS, and FTP workloads to AWS. With support for transfers over SFTP, FTPS, and FTP in and out of Amazon S3 and Amazon EFS, you can easily integrate your file transfer workflows with your Customer Relationship management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and web serving applications, as well as home directories and developer tools. Or, process them in your data lake with any analytics or machine learning service to extract business insights.

Simple and seamless would be the last words I would use to describe this solution. Yes it's scalable, but the work it requires to simply stand up an FTPS server with one or two users requires creating an API Lambda and/or a VPC just to get past go, each of which have their own implicit learning curves. Way too much complexity for something that is supposed to be a convenient feature! At least provide a wizard for easy setup with default options and easy setup support for password SFTP versus certificate!
