Now usually i'm not one to defend Jennie, but this scene was perfectly acted. Yall who are hating don't understand the CONTEXT behind her emotions. She's not just 'neutral' or just 'nodding' or wtv, she's excited, she feels guilty, she feels anxiety, nervousness, gratitude, overwhelmed, and so much more. ONLY bc of the context. Her best friend is a singer and she's a backup dancer who also likes to sing. The company was getting fed up with her and decided to go after Dyanne (Jennie) because she's not as much of a 'hassle' to deal with. Dyanne (Jennie) really wants to become an idol but she also wants to keep her best friend. 'World class sinner' was supposed to be her friend's comeback. She also feels bad because this was originally her friend's dream, and her friend has been through a lot and she knows her friend should be the one with all of this. She also did this behind her friend's back.

I love how she showed the emotions of guilt, overwhelmed, excited at the same time. People who didn't watch the show shouldn't be criticising her without knowing the context of the show.
