Thank you so much for sharing this marvelous chess game with us, I just have few comments if you don't mind and I hope you'd have some time to amend few changes in the code, I play chess and i love it there are some issues with the game rules though as the following:

1- Whenever you promote a pawn once it reaches the opponent's last row and according to the game rules the player should get an option to get the following pieces on one condition it has to be taken out first by the other player: (Queen, Knight, Bishop or Rook) not just queen as in the code.

2- checkmate happens in terms of an impasse or deadlock so the player can't move the King anywhere and it's called checkmate.

I understand this could be difficult without using libs or other plugins but you simply done a perfect job using only html and js.

Hey bro nice video. But unfortunately this is not how chess works. The rules are incorrect in your demo at the beginning. I would suggest incorporating
an engine (the game mechanics) in order to make this more valid. Great start though!

Thanks for sharing all the details about this project..., but by any chance will it be possible to make a customized #Chess_Board regardless the position of any #Game, which means #Users can make it arrange in any position according to their convenient, while considering any #unfinished previous game...!? 🤔

Nice video! Just a quick note: the queen and king are swapped and you missed some of the rules

That pawn can't make the move because it's pinned to the king, that part needs some logic implementation
