In this video we look at 6 Factors of Development.
History, Trade, Technology and Industrialisation, Health and Welfare, Education and Political Stability all play a role in a country's development.

This is Geography content covered at a high school level.

Personally I feel that education and training should be prioritised in terms of development. The more education the youth “people of tomorrow “ are, the better the country will develop, because there will be in improvement of Technology, shifting of ideology’s for the better, this will also lead to a steady birth rate (in terms of population growth) because people will be focused on their careers, leading to more tax payer’s. Allowing development to happen at a faster rate. Hence as I conclude education should be the main thing prioritised for countries development. ( example of this is china)

To answer your question, I would pick a few for a nation such as mine (PNG) Roads, Access to basic services, Health and Education Skills Training. But I think the key fundamental service would be to get basic services to every part of my country.

I think the most important is adequate housing as if hoses are okay than basic services will fall into place
