I don’t recall ever taking notes when reading. I figured that I don’t need notes, because the information will still be there in the text book. What you do need to do is think about what you are reading, but this should be obvious.

Do thank you! This is the most best advice. I could have sworn that the books I read by making many notes I remember or I can quickly refresh my memory with few references. But however I have to add that notes are different. What kind of notes students must do to be successful? Should a student be like a journalist who can arrange the news punch article with only few words?

Correct. Note making while studying works a lot. But there's one issue I face as a Physics Major, there's nothing called "Brief" notes when you're learning something new 🥲 It's all or nothing 🥲
