If you're tired of hassling with hose and sprinklers, and getting poor results from manual watering, this new automatic system is a perfect solution. The first professional grade Rain Bird sprinkler system designed for homeowner installation, it provides everything you need to keep your lawn green season after season while saving water.

The system attaches to any outside faucet and includes six high-efficiency rotary sprinklers with patented Rain Curtain nozzle technology. The same sprinklers used in professionally installed systems worldwide, these rugged sprinklers deliver a rotating curtain of water with large droplets that fall quickly to avoid windblown overspray and to cover evenly from head to perimeter for reduced overall watering time.

Simple adjustments for spray rotation and distance help you keep the water on your lawn and off the house, sidewalk and driveway. Controlling the sprinklers is Rain Bird's heavy duty timer with large readout screen and simple scroll settings for automatic watering any days of the week and up to two times per day. Flexible scheduling allows customizing your settings for specific needs such as watering of slopes where two short cycles will allow the water to soak in better, avoiding runoff waste. The timer also features manual buttons for "Water Now" and "Cancel" watering without affecting the program.

I installed one 15 years ago. Only had to change out one sprinkler head that was run over by my truck. I have an irrigation well with 2 1/2 well pipe that feeds a 2 inch bell 2 hp pump. I use 1 inch valve controls and manifolds abound the house then spider web out to the heads with 3/4 inch pipe. I pump 55 gallons @ 45 psi. When I trench, I cut one side then cross over to the other side and cut down then remove the sod wedge. Once the pipe is in the ground I replace the wedge then drive over it with my JD S240.

make sure that you are using the right threads . there are fittings that are npt (NATIONAL PIPE THREAD ) and there are fitting that are hose thread . like every thing you use in  from the garden hose is 3/4 hose  and most galvanized fitting and poly are npt so you need adapters

Help needed: my water pressure is 10g/m I set up my system three heads per line. But when I start the system just three heads will pop up, and the three are different each time, with at least one on each line. I do not know what is going on. Any advice?

I might get this after I move. It seems like a good product.

Is the 1/2 tubing enough for 6 actual heads?  Would I get better performance if I only needed to use 4 heads?  Thanks

So do you need a back flow preventer on the Rain Bird system to prevent water back flow or does the system do this through drain valves? I want to use the system, but I don't want to contaminate the water supply. I've called 5 times to your support line and can't get a consistent answer. I purchased a hose bib vacuum breaker and it didn't fit onto the connection piece.

You leave out a lot of information on the sprinkler. I don't know which ones does the spray. I don't know which one does the distance useless
