My concern is are hydraulics / electric motor strong enough to offset the force of wind without failing? Also pulling g-force will gear drop? What if only one gear drops, is it capable of retracting only one while other side is stowed?

Let's see how expensive we can make this airplane, all carbon fiber, a big engine, now complicated landing gear requiring lots of machining, and of course the extra insurance cost of retractable gear airplane
