When I connect as SYSDBA it connects no matter what password I put in:
SQL> conn SYS/oracle(the actual password) as SYSDBA; shows me the message "connected"
but so does SQL> conn SYS/hgnkj as SYSDBA;
Is it supposed to connect if the password is wrong? I am using a local machine (I am not connected to a server)

In Hostname is it compulsory to give localhost as hostname..
Can't we give ipaddress of our machine..

my sql developer doesn't have the ms access tab as shown at 0.51 time in the video. How to i enable this. i'm using oracle 12c, have a 64 bit Windows 10 OS and have quad core processor with 8gb ram. Ive installed the enterprise oracle 12c.
