In India, over 11,000 dancers and musicians performed Assam's Bihu dance at a stadium in the northeastern city of Guwahati, creating twin world records and taking the traditional dance form to the global stage. The dance is an integral part of Assamese culture and is performed during the annual Bohag Bihu festival, which marks the beginning of the Assamese New Year.

Happy Assamese, Tamil and Malyali New Year!! All three were celebrated in past couple of days. India has like 6-7 different new year celebrations from Gregorian New Year in January to the Zoroastrian and Gujarati new years in September-October-November.

Bihu (dance shown here) is part of my Assamese heritage I hope you guys like this and BTW a fun fact the next day after Bihu celebration was Assamese New Year 1430 (The year starts from when We came to India)
