What do you want the rotation to look like next year? Give me your five starters... GO!

What I want and what I think we'll get are 2 entirely different things. What I think we'll get is Gray, Fedde, Mikolas, Pallante and just maybe McGreevy. Possibly exercise the club option on Gibson if they don't think McGreevy is ready yet. I honestly don't see Mo going out and spending on pitching again this off-season.
Edit: I didn't forget Matz. But due to his injury prone nature, I think they'll keep him in the bullpen as a strong middle reliever or long relief. Plus he'll be available to put back in the rotation when someone inevitably goes on the IL.

I didn't trust Pallante at the start of the year but since he became a starter he's made me a believer. He definitely deserves to be in the rotation next year!!!

I'll make you a small Kookla, Fran and Lolly are left in place for next season Marmol will have Mikolas and Matz as starters and Pallante in middle Even if the kid is lights out in Spring Training they'll find a way to Foul this up.

Great video, sir, and imo if they don't replace oli and staff, none of it will matter 👍

Good afternoon JD;

Pallante turned out to be a good story this year. Time will tell how things go with him next year.

The lack of hitting with runners in scoring position leads me to make a conclusion on the Cardinal hitters.

It seems to me the Cardinal hitters lack of mental toughness hinders their hitting. It seems to me the number of pitches and strikes taken by the lineup as a whole and the strikeouts bear witness to a mental state that is not ready to hit the ball. It gives off an appearance that the hitter is overwhelmed and/or over matched. It looks weak.

Hitting starts with mental toughness. If a hitter does not have that, the mechanic’s won’t be there either. That being said, bad mechanic’s can ruin the mental approach as well. So it can be a double edged sword.

I don’t know how the Cardinal hitters have come to appear to be so passive at the plate in RBI situations. But, too much thinking will take an aggressive bat out of the hands of the best of hitters.

We see our young hitters like Gorman and Walker struggle the way they have at the big league level this season.

Something is way off and I can’t help but think that it has to do with instruction by the coaching staff. Let these guys be themselves. It’s no wonder we see guys take off after they leave St Louis! Something is not right.

I only have to put my hand in a tub of water once to know if it’s hot or cold. How cold will the Cardinal hitters have to get before the FO does something about what we all see?

An overhaul. A Back to the basic concepts of hitting has to happen THIS OFFSEASON!!!!

The ball outside was a makup call from the beautiful curveball strike at the top of the zone and the ump missed it and called it a ball

Gray, Burns, Fedde, Pallante, Mathews or Hence. And a big bat.

Not hearing enough about hiem bloom. I think development has been our biggest issue. Not saying trading has been good or bad but it has been necessary which it shouldn’t be for the talent we have drafted. We need to develop and I think bloom is salivating to finally getting the reigns

Yay!! We got Skenes number..now if we can get flame thrower Jimmy Hendricks from the cubs to retire😂 he tops out at 89💨 Pallante doi g great with the sinker into righties! Hes getting more control as time goes on. I dont think it was to bad those 2 games ago ..the walks a few the strike zone shrunked . Some hits found holes. If he continues to progress i think he will strike out more closer to 6 than 4. Great arm so this has been great news for the starting staff..so alls we need to do is hit with rsp..you will add another 10 or 13 wins and with Ryan as the closer looks like a +90 wins for 2025. Walker leads in hr for sept. A full year will help with the big club. Add another ace starter. Graceffo should be starting right now to see how he does now. Why wait till next year.. he had a good start soooo?..have a great day JD...Flarety that bridge is burned..but Corbin Burns yes along with Juan Soto would be great to have😊..along with Brent Rooker..JD talk to Mo or Bloom etc..Ozuna😴😴overslept who does that with a brand new team..funniest moments.. remember the great leap up the wall only have the ball land 10 ft in front of him😂 ..now he dh's after winning a gold glove ..lol

It would be great if the Cards could develop starters similar to Matt Morris, Chris Carpenter, Carlos Martinez for the few years that he was good, Jaime Garcia without the injuries,
Wainwright, Tewksbury, Skubal and Skenes.

Walker doesn't seem to pick up the ball off the bat very quickly. I think of Schwarber when he first moved to the outfield, some serious laughs and then he became a decent outfielder. Maybe Walker will be the same.

I'm confident about Gray, Lynn and Pallante going into next season I'm hesitant on Fedde and Gibson and definitely positive about Mikolas and Matz. I just don't think Miles has what it takes to pitch in the Big Leagues and his stats back me up.

Gray Pallante Mcgreevy Mathews Graceffo maybe Thompson or Robberse

es necesario despedir a Mozeliak y a Marmol. Traer a gente con ideas nuevas y que desarrolle a los jugadores de ligas menores. Perdimos a Arozarrena Garcia Gallen etc.
