Those scraps from the liberty fabric reminded me of an Israeeli lady who did (and won an award) a quilt only with fabric selvages. The quilt was huge and the result was stunning. Something I wouldn't be able to do.

I don't know if anyone is still reading but I did a million of these for a special event and they turned out beautifully! I used floral wires for the stem and topped with a collection of buttons I got at a yard sale. They were a hit!

Hi Kate. I too have had problems with the internet. Only without for a day but felt my right arm had been cut off!!!. Thankfully I had my phone. When I was working my treat to myself was to buy a liberty print hankie from Crabtree and Evelyn. I store them in a very special floral box I had made. Such indulgences are not available now. I still get a kick out of opening the box each morning to pick a clean hankie. 😊

I never thought of doing the flowers out of paper, but I have made many many out of fabric and ribbon, (kanzashi ) style .the better I got at it the smaller I would go .down to one inch square for each peddle, I use needle and thread to secure them . it's a lot of fun, my grandaughters have loads of flowers for their hair 😘

I love the Flowers!! I used to make flowers out of colored knee hose. They were real pretty too!! Congrat to the winners!!
