Spearmint vs Peppermint 🌿 What is the Difference?

Spearmint and Peppermint can look very similar, but the best way to tell them apart is by tasting the leaves. Spearmint is subtle and sweet and about as minty as chewing gum, while peppermint is strong and pungent with lots of menthol.

Good info. It's common to see mint growing everywhere here. I tear the leaves and use them as an indoor room freshener. The music had me visualizing little garden nymphs dancing around. Loved all the bugs!

Peppermint the flowers grow around the stems in round clusters and a pointy tip then spearmint the flowers grow in points but not around the stem
