With the TV sitcoms Gilligan's Island and The Brady Bunch, creator/ producer Sherwood Schwartz made enough money (after syndication) to put his and everybody else's grandkids through college. He also did a comedy Western, Dusty's Trail, which probably made enough to put one kid through a preschool in a condemned building for, oh, six months. It was an unabashed Gilligan knockoff: the seven wagon train passengers are the seven castaways (with Forrest Tucker copying Alan Hale's Skipper so exactly that lawsuits should've been in order); the racist jungle native portrayals are replaced by racist Native American ones; the phony palm trees are supplanted by phony Western foliage, and instead of the original castaways trying to make it back to civilization, the wagon trainers are trying to make it to California. (Insert your own punchline here.) This "movie" is four Dusty episodes artlessly plastered together with chicken wire and chewing gum; in other words, it's a ripoff of a ripoff. The only difference is that Gilligan's Island had a laugh track and this one doesn't; rumor has it that there actually WAS a laugh track machine here but it just didn't find anything to laugh at. 2/10.
