Theory: DuoCara isn’t a guard bot of the Mansion (as I’ve been seeing a lot of people say), he may just be a robot created to help Old man Eddy do stuff he cannot do anymore due to his old age. And it was given 2 faces (hence it’s name) to express itself in some sort of way, as Eddy may be a kind man of some sorts who would probably do that. But being kind doesn’t mean being stupid. He added the bot mechanics as a home defense system in case his home was broken into. Now, his house is big and he is pretty rich, so obviously there’s bound to be robbers (hence the home defense system). And since Zee and Zuzy broke into his house, DuoCara took 30 seconds to activate the defense system, therefore the timer. That is my theory, correct me if I’m wrong.

It's October of 2023, so I've come back to give my theory on the entirety of the mansion chapter. Before that though I wanna correct my theory and say that the whole idea of Duocara having 2 faces just to express itself probably has more meaning than just that. Old man Eddy likely made it that way so he could tell if it was in defense mode. This would make sense if Duocara didn't switch between faces when out of defense mode. ALSO, as someone mentioned, Duocara's kill animation is lethal. It's likely because Duocara needs a way to attack while in defense mode. Duocara' having the black key on itself is also likely because Eddy wanted to protect his research on the insolence, and keep it a secret. And let's be real, nobody's gonna mess with a literal neck breaking robot. Another thing is that Duocara may be slightly sentient. There's no logical explanation to how it realized/sensed the twins break into the mansion, unless it can view the cameras. And even if it could, it would still need to identify the person as an intruder. And I don't think this is the case, as if it were true, it would be a hassle to have Duocara not absolutely pummel some random guy Eddy let into the mansion. I wouldn't doubt its sentience, as Eddy is pretty smart from the looks of it. Now onto the theory


Mansion Theory: Eddy (and the mansion chapter in general) is VERY important to the plot of Piggy. For starters, he is investigating the insolence, a cult surrounding the main antagonist, TIO. He also gave us a fuck ton of new information regarding the insolence. The board on the wall in the hidden room that you can only access with the black key also reveals many odd things. One thing I focus on, is the words "Messing with mind, lack of sleep" as it is referring to the tricks TIO plays on his victims. Just like how he was messing with Pony, Zizzy and the player's MIND. AND THIS PHRASE CAN LITERALLY INFER THAT GEORGIE WAS BEING TARGETED BY TIO DURING DISTORTED MEMORY! Georgie had a nightmare, and there were many doors that looked like the one we saw at the end of Piggy BOOK 2 (By red door I mean the one with transparent red in the middle and black edges or whatever). This could be considered his mind being messed with. And as we know, Georgie would have this nightmare occur every time he went to bed, which goes back to the phrase, as it can be considered lack of sleep. But that opens up another can of worms, so I won't ramble on about distorted memory. Another thing is that Eddy calls a person named Finley, who, if you didn't know, has a page you unlocked at Season 4's max level. the page itself is a log of Finley's, and it talks about him and his crew exploring the southern ruins. The southern ruins are also on Eddy's board, and he DID call Finley at the end of the chapter, so it is possible that Finley's page is written after Eddy calls him, since he wanted his help investigating "something". The theme of season 4 was also adventure, so we can infer that Finley is an adventurer. And just so you know, the southern ruins are NOT the temple from chapter 10 of book 2, as the protagonists headed NORTH, not SOUTH. Eddy also basically predicted the infection, as he said that he thought something was gonna happen (not his exact words but you get the gist). "The northern dock sightings" are also written on the board, and I think this refers to the eyes we see in the chapter. Eddy also stated that weird things occur whenever near an eye, so I think it's safe to say the dock sightings likely had to do with the crawl trap and the open tomb, and just the ruins in the docks in general. I don't have anything to say about the crystal on his desk, though. Also, we can infer that Eddy and Elly are related. Keep this in mind. The red room in the mansion may also relate to Eddy's character and his connection to the insolence. We may only hear the creepy noises BECAUSE Eddy has the crystal in his basement. Remember, it was previously mentioned that strange things Occur when near either the crystal or eye(s) of insolence. Why would we hear that though? This could tie into the rumors that supposedly, Old Man Eddy turns kids into toys. Maybe the rumor began because people heard the noises too? It is a very likely scenario. But the room itself is also just odd in general. Why is it filled with only red objects and whatnot? My guess is that it was used as a nursery of some sort. There's not much to go off of to determine anything about the red room, so we'll leave it at that. The other rooms, though, are interesting. One is definitely Eddy's room, which I assume is the one next to the room blocked by the metal doors. The other room I haven't talked about is the (practically) empty room with 2 beds. Now, if Eddy and Elly are connected (which they most certainly are), we can assume that room is hers. But since there's 2 beds, not one, we can also assume that Edmond (the guy you save while doing the ready player 2 event in Alleys), shared a room with Elly. This assumption also plays into the theory that these 3 are related. The final room is literally just Eddy's little work room, so there's nothing I'll say about it. The only thing I wonder, is how he even knows about all this (stuff relating to the insolence). Maybe through some personal connections? I don't really know. That's my theory. Correct me if I'm wrong.
