Raj Malhotra is a lawyer who succeeds professionally by constant lying. His persistent dishonesty infuriates his wife, who threatens to leave him if he doesn't straighten out. Raj's son wishes that his father could not lie, and creates a sort of curse that prevents Raj from speaking anything but the truth. Raj soon finds that honesty, while sometimes vexing, yields its own rewards.

ये गोविंदा जी की उस दौर की फिल्म है जब हम वीसीआर में सभी रुपए कलेक्शन करके फिल्म देखा करते थे उस समय में फिल्म केवल दूरदर्शन पे आया करती थी और ईश फिल्म के गाने मकर सक्रांति और शादियों में बहुत चलते थे आज भी जब भी ये फिल्म देखता हु वही बचपन का दौर याद आ जाता है

“Tu master aadmi hai, yaar”: Satish-Govinda combo was something special (since Swarg 1990). Actually in the movie all actors were great, they fit perfectly their roles. Govinda sneaky and yet adorable, so natural. Of course Anupam Kher, another genius. And Sushmita Sen what a surprise, funny and spontaneous. To me this Bollywood remake is even better than the original Liar Liar. Without forgetting that Jim Carrey could never dance as gracefully as our beloved Govinda-ji!
