Queen Elizabeth banned Meghan Markle from wearing the tiara she wanted to wear. The Vladimir tiara became one of Meghan Markle's favorites, and Prince Harry even had a fight with his grandmother because of it. Harry stated, "Meghan wants it, Meghan gets it." However, the Queen quickly intervened and denied the couple the emerald tiara. According to The Sun, she told her grandson: "She gets whichever tiara I choose." The reason the queen challenged Meghan's request was due to the fact that the monarch was "unimpressed" with the former actress' behavior. It was at the Queen's discretion to decide which items from the royal collection Meghan could borrow. Certain aspects of Meghan's behavior, including before the royal wedding, have caused discontent at Buckingham Palace. The Queen herself was not particularly impressed by Meghan's demands. As a result, Meghan had to submit to the wedding tradition, according to which the tiara for the bride is chosen by the monarch and go to the wedding in the Queen Mary bandeau tiara.

She wanted the greville emerald kokoshnik tiara that eugenie wore to her wedding but the tiara was already promised to eugenie, harry threw a fit saying he was more senior than eugenie, the queen was pissed of and gave her a choice of a few tiaras excluding any emerald tiaras. the emerald tiaras had not been seen in about 80 years there is no way meghan would have known about them, harry was the one who told her about the more obscure tiaras that were housed in the royal collection!!!

When Queen Elizabeth told Meghan that she would be choosing the tiara for her, Queen Elizabeth was basically saying “I am in charge here not you”, and was letting Meghan know the proper order of things. Meghan should be gracious and honored that she is allowed to wear any tiara at all!!

That was like a big, shocking slap to her doting dad who laid his life down for over 25 years, and a total slap to several others who helped her from her relatives in the USA.
