Gorgeous, intelligent, kind and dresses impeccably. Ariel has been so classy and unproblematic throughout the season, even down to respecting his decision in the Fantasy Suite with no self-pity or insecurity. And he sends her home. Why are men like this? 😭

I think Zach was intimidated by Ariel… she’s a New York girl with style, class, brains, and a great personality. I don’t think she lost out in the end, let’s just put it that way. I hope she becomes the next Bachelorette after Charity!

Ariel could've been weepy or whiney on that bench and Zach would've had an easier time saying "Goodbye". Instead, she used that moment to be grateful and kind. He had to hurt, knowing how pure her true character is.

Those were some beautiful parting words. I feel like they genuinely meant what they said and didn't just speak in shallow platitudes, which is pretty rare for this show. I hope they're both better for having known each other.

Agree with others. As he was saying goodbye, the way Ariel still showed class and dignity (and had kind words for him despite being hurt), had to have him second guessing his decision. You get to know the true character of a person in the tough moments, and she showed how much of a catch she really is. I can't help but think that her strength and confidence, along with her family, may have intimidated him.
