It was great to see a real person review. I've got the setup ready to go myself just running my tank dark at the minute trying to get the bacteria started up but looking forward to running the care set

Good overview. I’m using Complete on a 5g nano and currently manually dosing, which as you say is not the greatest way to do it. I’d like to get their doser at some point but where the tank currently sits I just don’t want the eyesore of the extra clutter. For those manually dosing, the app doesn’t allow it as it requires connecting their 4 head doser in the app to proceed. You can math it out, and then I use a small precision scale and micropipettes as some of my doses are like 0.1ml daily.

Their Complete parameters are tuned to match their salt base proportions so water changes “should” fix a large skew. I’m also using their NO3:PO4-X to control nitrate and phosphate.

With my tank being so small the cost of Complete is insignificant so I wanted to try it and I do like it. Their 4 formulas on their site, like soft corals only, mixed reef, etc. aren’t going to cover all situations so I can see some people not liking it, like it their tanks have a lot of macro or if they have a LPS dominant tank full of Euphyllia and they want to run elevated magnesium or something. At that point the “just test for calcium” breaks the system, but overall I like it.

thanks for the video, I really wanted to try it, but i have a 300 gallon and the cost would have been too high. i do like their other products.
