Summarizing the video, to get a mount quickly and effeciently, just buy it.
For the free to play method,
There's an npc named Zion once you reach level 20 you can do his quest. He gives you a mount chest and you have a 3% chance for the pig and horse and a 1% chance for a panther. The quest takes around 5 to 10 minutes and the quest is repeatable.

So just go through majority of the game or the entire game without a mount, cause you won't be reaching those battlepass levels anytime soon. There's a quest that gives only a 7% chance of getting one of the pets which there should be a 100% guarantee to actually get one of the pets. So really unless you pay2win you'll go through most of the game without a mount.

after a few grinding from this specific quest, ive gained over 70k essence and about 300+ faction STILL NO MOUNT.

Here is a tip to speed up the process.
-Always keep about 16-20 small healing potions and about 15 sigils, this will help you skip the 4th stage of zorins quest and you can just go straight to opening the chest.
