I used to play in bands and stuff but was always to broke to buy a nice guitar using cheap ibanez's. I looked up to musicians like jeff buckley and jim root so my favourite guitar has always been a american tele but i could never get one. Well turns out my grandfather listened to my rantings about how amazing the guitar was and how vibrant and verstile its tone is and he secretly went off to buy himself one which he never said anything about and when he eventually sadly passed away i managed to inherit it. Its very special to me

I have a modded EC-10. My daughter bought it for me and I’ll never get rid of it. I put locking tuners, graphtech nut, and Kirk Hammet EMG Bonebreaker 81/60 combo. My other favorite is my Epi Prophecy Les Paul. 🤘🤘

I got a black Dean Playmate for my 15th birthday and I still have it today. The plug contact wires broke so I had to have that part of the internals fixed. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I'm using shaller strap locks but since i play king v's they stab me in my leg, what should i do, I'm considering the DiMarzio clip lock straps but idk

I modded my first guitar into a beast
It's a 40th anniversary green and gold telecaster squire

I replaced the pickups into an HS configuration that gibson 57 humbucker in the neck. ultra noiseless vintage telecaster bridge pickup. Of course, this means I needed to route the wood and find a gold anodized pick card that would fit a paf humbucker

I also took Steelwool to the back of the neck to make it super smooth And stained at the pal farro Nick till it looked like a super vibrant rosewood with Monty's relic Wax

I then made sure that the intonation was perfect with the bridge that was replaced with a genuine fender vintage bridge and brass saddles. I also replaced the tuners with gotoh staggered vintage tuners

Squier strat hss. I tried to tighten the nut on the tuning peg and the pliers slipped and hammered the split shaft inwards... I had to open it back up with a screwdriver... Now the nut and split shaft tuner looks kinda beat but it still holds tuning pretty well

sterling jp15. came with one of the tuning heads crooked, first gig the volume knob falls off and doesnt fit back on anymore. dead note on the 19th fret from bad fret job. I paid 700 bucks for it *sigh*
