Thick smoke rises above Crimean city after alleged drone attack
A huge plume of dark smoke was seen rising in the Crimean port of Sevastopol on Saturday (April 29) after an alleged drone attack on the city.
Sevastopol, which is on the Crimean peninsula that Russia annexed from Ukraine in 2014, has come under repeated air attacks since Russia sent troops into Ukraine last February. Russian officials have blamed the attacks on Ukraine.
The Russian defence ministry on Monday (April 24) said it repelled an attack by naval drones on its Black Sea fleet stationed in Sevastopol in the early hours of the day.
