To see a person understand music so deeply they learned the way to break it down into teachable reachable life skills is truly beautiful

This is what I want to do. I have an extreme passion for music and people with disabilities, I play 6 instruments and I want to use my talent to help others to find the love for music that I have.

I'm 13 and I have a little cousin who is autistic and absolutely loves when I sing! I'm in The Singing Angels and I never want to give up singing and I love working with children with special needs! I definitely want to look into this for college!

Dude! I've worked with kids like this, sometimes more severe, and only once a week did the company I worked for ever let the kids be exposed to music. And even then it was just a cd playing, not actual instruments. I love these videos, they bring a tear to my eye because I have such a heart for these kids. Keep up the good work man!

I'm Kailey and I'm sixteen, so naturally I'm thinking about college in a few years.  I had to do a research paper on a possible occupation I would like to pursue and I came across an interview you did on the internet.  I then found this video and am so thankful I did because now I know for certain I want to become a music therapist.  Thanks for inspiring so many, including me, and helping me decide what I want to spend the rest of my life doing! God Bless!

This was so inspiring. I have a brother with special needs, and we come from a very musical family, and he loves music more than anything. I will be studying to become a music therapist at Berklee soon. 😊🎶

Thank you so much for putting this up here. I am now on the track to becoming a Music Therapist myself and was in some need of encouragement. Thank you. This was a joy to watch and it reminded me why I am here, in school. I pray that you continue to flourish in your career.

:) this put a smile on my face ♡ I am a music major but have thought about going into music therapy instead of music education. I love how you are with the children overall. This warmed my heart and is really confirming what I have been wanting to do for a while without really realizing it until now. Thank you for posting this (4 years ago :))
