I watched your video, went and bought a cattle panel, posts and post pusher. Husband came home, put it up and we love it. Just need to put up more. We decided to make extra gardens by the street this year and offer free tomatoes and maybe cucumbers. We'll have our own in the back gardens. I had an herb/flower/vegetable/floral design business for 20 years and closed it some years back. Now in old age, we are 71 and 80 (still healthy and vigorous) we have decided to start growing again and also sharing with passersby. I think kind gestures are a way of connecting and giving back after what our world has been through this winter/spring. Happy growing everyone. Thank you Roots and Refuge for the great videos. Write that book! Update 3/7/22. I lost my prince last August at 82. He is sorely missed but would want me to keep doing everything we loved together. I'm now 73, getting ready to garden in the spring, painting and writing and learning to produce videos!

My favorite part is 2:49 with the guys being ‘models’ looking like, “I don’t know how I get myself into these situations.” They’re so sweet! 😻

Not all zip ties are UV protected and will break down in the sun. Make sure you purchase ones meant for outdoors. Love this idea!

Your hubby is so funny. I love how you both laugh together. Thank goodness for sweet neighbors. Your garden is clever, too.

Have you ever planted climbing flowers on one? It would be a great idea to attract bees to help pollinate your veggies. I absolutely love this idea..

I don’t have a food garden, want to, but I love my plants. Watching you made me smile. You give off such a vibrant and soothing feeling. Your smile and demeanor is, pure and sweet. You remind me of my cousin, truly beautiful inside and out. Thank you for your vids!

Anytime I YouTube search for instructions or info on something I want to add to my garden, a video of yours pops up! 💕💕💕💕

Great video. But I use a long auger bit on my drill to drill the holes into the ground for the t posts. A 12 inch hole for the T post takes about 20 minutes including scooping up the loosened soil. I'm a 67 year old woman with back problems so a heavy T Post driver is out of the question. Letting the drill do all the work saves my back, neck and shoulders.

I constructed 3 of these this spring by myself. It's a challenge but doable and I'm no Olympic athlete! No

I hope you’re enjoying your vaca away from YouTube. Watching as many videos as I can to help the algorithm. We love ya, Jess! ❤
Also, I just adore the relationship you and Miah have. Many years of love and happiness I have got to see through the years of heartbreak, change, and new beginnings. So cool ❤

"Probably 80% of our farm is held together by zip ties."

I used to be a zookeeper. 80% of zoos are held together by zip ties, too. They're the greatest invention ever.
