Pencil test for two shots (the only 2) that I animated for Wolfwalkers. I absolutely loved working with Tomm and everyone at Cartoon Saloon.

I had no idea you animated this scene! So insanely impressive. It makes me so happy that my favorite animator is associated with one of my all time favorite movies. Such a beautiful film, im obsessed with the shapes and colors of the backgrounds. They inspire me a lot when I draw forests for my own characters.

Cartoon Saloon preferably animates on 2s or 3s, yet for a change, they went for a super-smooth 1s shot like this for Wolfwalkers. This shot is one of MANY reasons why it's one of my favourite animated films of all time! Amazing job on this, James! Big fan btw!

I’ve animated run cycles before, and the fact that you’ve animated it 1. Front view, meaning anatomy is much more obscure and 2. animated like 15 OTHER WOLVES, ALL STARTING AT DIFFERENT POSITIONS, is absurd to me. seriously a god tier animator
