Only seen this one now, love all your tribute videos, and this one! Clark Gable is probably my number one so I love it!

Anna, Beautiful editing, the montage was flowing…with a wonderful piece of music to back it up.

I hope I am not bothering you too much but I FEEL we are kindred spirits. I have been traveling back to California to see family and friends…but mostly, to explore Los Angeles. My last visit I went to Glendale Forest Lawn and managed to sneak in under the rope for a prohibited visit with Clark Gable and Carol Lombard for a few minutes. I always respected his body of work but also …I could feel his anguish over the death of Carol. 😢

I saw your video on Tyrone Power and was pleased to see that you were not afraid to “sit on his face”! Haw! The funniest thing I have seen (heard?) on Youtube for a long time!

No, I’m not flirting with you…but I love your mellow, conversational style. I FEEL like I spent a few hours with you!

My next trip will include all kinds of sights, including what’s left of the legendary Garden Of Allah Hotel. Yeah, I know…there’s nothing left except…a brand new nothing building. Well, I just want to stand there for a bit…and then blithely walk over to Schwabs Drug store (Starbucks) and rub elbows with unemployed actors.

I will be in LA right before New Years. A fantasy would be to meet you for coffee…somewhere, somehow.

I will not hold my breath…but know that you have a fan out here! You are SO funny!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, ANNA!

@My Lovely Dead Friends this has to be my very favorite tribute video of my Gable, EVER. This actually made me cry. I feel sad but it’s so beautifully done. Thank you for taking the time to do this. How special that we all love him, keep saying his name and remember him. A whole new generation of women, in love with the most handsome man who ever walked the planet! I love it. I’m 45, would love to know age ranges of the rest of the women here?

Even though I hated The Misfits, I thought Clark Gable was amazing in it.
