Lube up the rubber right under your pedals!!! It’s just the rubber and metal rubbing together

my 2022 x3 makes same sound with you, they replaced whole EPS last year, that noise gone for while, but today i found same issue again, I'll have an appointment next week Tuesday

I seem to have the same issue with my Toyota Rush, though mine sounds more like rusty metal and not rubber. Friend of mine who is good in cars told me to give my rush a some car wash including the underneath since it has been flooding here.

My 2022 makes the same noise; dealer told me it's normal electric power steering noise :(

Got the same noise in my 2022, researching how to fix it now, and it sounds like WD40 for the win. I’ll spraying some tomorrow morning if I can get under the dash

Edit: the squeaking noise went away by itself
