I think what I love about Stoner Metal (apart from just like riff based metal already) is that the songs hit a nice length where they make for great background music, but if I'm in the mood to sit down and listen to some riffs the songs are long enough to satisfy me.

Also I never looked into Stoner Metal for ages cause I've never been interested in any drug culture, but once I realized it was another Black Sabbath spin-off genre I actually started listening to it and freaking loved it. Stoner Metal def hits differently to stoner rock.
