I’m currently enquiring about RCIA as someone from a Muslim background. So much about the church etc can be overwhelming. Definitely appreciate your videos 🙌

Great video, it’s so easy as a new catholic to be hooked into alarmist media. It can also be quite discouraging to convert when you see these issues, and the Orthodox Church doesnt have internet channels like this really. Thank you for your content, you’ve restored my faith in the Catholic Church and are a large part of my conversion. I will be confirmed next month!

I imagine Westen, Marshall et al are getting frustrated because Francis keeps refusing to do some of these things. They’ve staked their whole business model on it.

Great video. Especially loved 15:27 and after where you call for balanced application of discipline by those in authority. Right now there is a strong need for such discipline . I hope and pray that the next Pope is a Pope of severe mercy and that many Bishops follow suit. The Church- in certain cultures- may get smaller if that comes to pass but it will become more fruitful in holiness .

No. Such a thing is impossible and Pope Francis has stated this.

Looking forward to the book Michael. CA has a lot of books covering protestantism but there's not too many out there that discuss Eastern Orthodoxy

Thanks for bringing this to wider attention 🙂

The attempt incurs auto excommunication and the effect is null and void. It will have the same null effect as if they tried to ordain a rock or mud or fish

Glad to be of assistance in the comments section on the other video 😁

Granted, but this does not mean he won't reintroduce the non-sacramental office of deaconess for women. If he does, this will do a lot of harm.... very imprudent.

Boy, I remember the days when the forum that discussed expanding women's roles in the Church were going to allow for the ordination of women, and the days when Pope Francis was going to end priestly celibacy during the Amazon Synod.

But I'm sure this time it will happen. Better start putting out alarmist content now!

Pope Benedict the 16 already settled the Matter. Pope Francis will not ordain women

I wonder why women who desire to become priests don't want to become Sisters? Just some thoughts: maybe the Church could ban lay lectors and extraordinary ministers and open those roles to consecrated Religious women... and in general, make more opportunities for Sisters. I know it wouldn't make everyone happy but it might make consecrated Religious life more appealing for more women while preserving the priesthood and even increasing the reverence of the Mass by de-emphasizing laypeople.

Food for thought: when you highlight it’s hard to read. Perhaps an “Underlining” method?

Man I wish he would link the things he brings up

Wait I thought that the definition in Ordinatio Sacerdotalis was not ex cathedra, but ordinary universal magisterium. Because of this it wasn’t defined there but recognized as already having been defined. Notice that P. St. John Paul II said that “I declare” not “I define and declare”.
