Here's some intricate index lead two finger old-time banjo. Omer Forster was a magnificent Old-time banjo player from Tennessee with a rippling style and innovative approach to the instrument. Flowery Girls is his adaptation of a fiddle piece that fiddler Walter Warden played. From Humphries County, TN, Forster played in Arthur Smith's Dixie Liners before Sam and Kirk McGee joined the band. While in the band, Forster played over WSM and WDOD (the Dynamo of Dixie) in my hometown of Chattanooga, TN.

I've been messing with this tune for a while and am feeling happier with it. I posted a version a while back, but I think it's come along a bit.

I teach old time banjo lessons, teaching clawhammer, two finger, and other old time banjo styles.

Wonderful performance. Brings back happy memories of my Grandad sitting on his chair on the front porch. Keep up the good work.
