August Adult Colouring Haul 2024 | Adult Coloring

A look at the new (ish) stuff I'm got hold off during August, nothing to surprising or unusual, but stuff that I've had my eye on for a while. I bought some of this during July, and August.

Hope you've enjoyed it all, I aware a lot of this you've probably seen, but I thought I'd still have my take on it.

Ohhh, there is the Floribunda Year you mentioned earlier. BEAUTIFUL and the bigger images are definitely easier to colour. After our little chat about Leila Duly's stunning work a couple of weeks ago I got Walk in the Woods and I cannot stop colouring in it.

I love it so much I'm getting a back up soon ❤ And of course I need (yes, need, haha) Floribunda Year too. Oh, and those Helen Elliston books. Amazing

I really like the storage I found for my Tombows. They're the perfect height to fit in insulated bottle bags. The ones I have are cute prints from a brand called Twelve Little, but you can find these from lots of different brands.

But if you want a desktop display, Tombow also makes a set of organizer drawers that look really nice.

For other water-based markers, I also have a set of the Zig Fudebiyori brush pens and the Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens, and I really like those too. I'm not sure why they seem less popular than the Tombows for coloring.

I know IRe: the tombow markers - in the U.S. we can buy the markers open stock so you avoid the duplicates problem. They’re a bit more expensive by the pen compared to the duplicates problem. Great haul!

Nice haul. Thank you for sharing. Tombow has a plastic box case that fit both the Tombow and the Lyra water colour brush markers. That is how I store both of mine. I find they are so similar I can’t really tell the difference between them.

I was the same with Gabi Wolfs books. Ordered both 😂I love her style, and the sizes of her illustrations in these two books. She wrote me an answer to my comment, and said, that a christmas book will come out this year too. (October or November) 🙂

Thank you so much for the mention 💜 I also had tried watercolor on the paper, because of how thick it is I thought it could work but it didn't. Even my super light wash of lemon yellow bleed through to the other side so I decided that it will be done with colored pencils. I did my background with a black acrylic marker and that worked well, no bleed through. The translation of the title is mysterious nature. 😊
I've also seen that Gabi Wolf hat two new minimania books and was at the point to not buy more books but couldn't leave them be, they're just to cute 😅🙈
I'm really excited what you will do in the books especially the mysterious nature one. Really happy that it gets more love now, because it's a stunning book and it deserves it.

Haha! I like you accidentally bought some things!!! I bought three books too from Helen Ellison! I thought the same thing!! The coloring Heaven books are fun!! I agree with you on a million puppies!!! I like Mythomorthia as well! And that is so funny you clicked on one but needed up with two!!! That’s so funny!! I like all your books! Thanks for sharing!! Really like the look of the pdf books you showed Wendy, will be checking those out . The Enchanted Forest book I found in the Works recently. The same illustrator has one coming out next year called the Midnight Garden which also look pretty .
