A tip. Those plastic aldi bags or any of the others you get shopping work great for a stuff bag. And you can squeeze it tight. Fyi. Instead of a pack cube. And they are like 15 cents. And water tight. One of them can store dirty laundry. For a water bottle i dont bring. You can buy a bottle of water in europe for amazingly as little as 29 cents. I just reuse or rebuy.

My opinion you could reduce shirts. My opinion you can go with way less clothes. I did 2 months with the clothes i had on 2 extra undershirts 4 pairs underwear and socks 1 extra ls shirt 1 extra ss shirt a jacket scarf hat shorts and done. A rain coat is a good extra but not required. I wear same pants whole time and washed them once. They were always good as new. For me equipment took the most weight and space. I bring some 1 gal ziplock bags to stash everything in cords hygiene wise.

I just discovered yout channel. You seem sooo nice! You radiate calm. Lovely to watch and the tips are cool too.

When it comes to the passport and numbers, very smart to have copies. I have them online but I will make copies for when I travel, just in case. And it would also be a good idea to write down the addresses of the places where I am gonna stay. Thanks for the tip.

You use 2 tubes of toothpaste on a trip? How much do you use or how many times a day do you brush teeth? 😄 For short trips I like toothpaste tabs or I will refill the eco toothpaste in a smaller container and just dip the end of the toothbrush there. A small container can last so long.

Last year I decided to skip the towel and get one in the hostel. Daylight robbery! 7 €!! I should have stolen it. There is no way for them to know if you bring it back so you might as well just keep it if they make you pay that much.

I love seeing people only travelling with a backpack. I have done 10 days in the UK in March with 15 L + 1 L toiletries. You really do not need much. People keep forgetting that there are sinks and washing machines. Yeh, you alwways look the same and it might be a bit boring but as long as you are clean it is enough, IMO. Forget the make-up and the fanciness, just enjoy the simplicity of travelling with less.

I remember this one time I was moving back home and had a purse and all my belongings in a big suitcase that got lost (got it the next day fortunately). There I learned to have the most important stuff with me in a suitcase. Then I always travelled with handluggage + the checked-in bag. Annoying but it was normal for me. Back in 2018 I visited a friend for 4 days in sunny and hot Madrid, was the first time I only had a small backpack with me and since then I have not travelled with more.

A short message turned into a novel almost 😄

Enjoyed the video, but i stopped around 10 minutes in. It was the second time you would tell your viewers that you're broke.

Look at all the stuff you own. I traveled alot and spoke with people, good people. They would only see a plane far up in the air and never in their whole lives would see the insides of even up close. Now that is broke.

You don't realise how privileged we are to get on planes and visit other countries for three months straight. Don't get me wrong, like I said I like to travel alot so I'm guilty.

I am aware that no one is the same, but I really hope that travellers/backpackers would be speaking more to the local people to understand the countries more that they're visiting. It is way more valuable than sightseeing.

I do t want to contradict but if you are travelling in europe, you should always get the passport with you in case you run a in a situation with the police.
