As a youngster, in high school and throughout college, I used to work helping physically set up big-name bands on stage in Boston, Cate Cod, Springfield, Providence and Hartford. Poco was one of them; cool group with cool sounds. Now that I'm a senior citizen, I only have memories: John Lennon, George Harrison; Ringo Starr; Rolling Stones, Crosby Stills Nash and Young; America; Leon Russell; roughly 150 more individuals and groups through the years. Most were pretty cool, some were a-holes; a few so messed up I never though they'd be able ti do a set, on stage, standing up. Now that I'm a senior citizen, I relish the memories.

This is one of those perfect songs. Reminds me of riding in the car with my Mom in the late 70s. She passed away March 11th 2000 when I was 24. I hear this song and am immediately transported to 1979 and the front seat next to her. Life was so simple and even the scent of the world was better then.
