Harry, for your and others information, when no gui base os available, only DOS were there, we use to use many dos command every day, making directory (now folder), change directory, rename file, rensme directory, delete file/s, going to perticular path, and many system command .and we use these command as .bat files .that was our program file 😊 no way that time.the time was Basic, COBOL, Pascal, Dos, wordstar, Lotus 123, dbase 123. Pc of 8088, 8086 processor, then it came pentium 1, 2, 3, 4.winows 97, xp. wow and now drastic change.but just want to say then days commond line is not only common but must
