All through my math courses, Patrick came up in conversation. lol
Sometimes right before the exam, we'd just do a Patrick Marathon on the subjects that would be on the exam.

yes engineering and physics any subject that involves rates of change need differential equations which is what the Laplace transform is for solving but you also need to go the other and find inverse Laplace transform as well before can use it to solve differential equations but if you have a calculus textbook look under improper integrals they may be problems there about finding Laplace transforms but really you only use them in DE

7:32   You said "if s is less than 1".  Should be "if s is greater than 1" at that point.

Hi,
The main idea of Laplace function : replace the study of f(x) by the study of Laplace function...
We replace the study of f(x) by his integrale Laplace : sometimes it is easy to study Laplace function and come back to original f(x)...
