Very helpful tutorial thank you! Been wracking my brain for a while trying to figure out an easy process. One suggestion though, the white selector bars at the top and bottom of your images will crop it so you could have it match the border of the card rather than spill out to cover up later and lose space.

I have the free version of Canva and designed bookmarks and want to have 4 per page. How did you get the blank white page at the beginning of the tutorial? Thanks in advance.

Is there no template already for members to just insert their designs front and back and then print? Im really surprised they dont considering how intricate most templates are. Nonetheless, this was very informative, and you provided the what if scenarios and the solution, this was GREAT!

hello everyone, this is a 2024 update for how to do this more easily + retain quality.
Download the design as a JPG or PNG, then upload it back to Canva and use it.
1. Share / Download / File Type / JPG or PNG / Save it to computer
2. Open your blank Canva page / Uploads / Select the photo from your computer / Select it
Done.

Thank you for your tutorial. Am I the only one for whom the copy and paste functions don’t work. Is there something I’m missing. I’m working on an iPad in Chrome. For some reason. The selected copy won’t paste into another design.

I have a multi layered background and the process only copied some of the layers. How do I get the balance of the layers to copy over?

I have a really silly question, possibly. Wouldn’t it be easier to turn on the print & bleed line guides in settings while designing? (Then turn them off before printing) I could absolutely be thinking wrong 😊

Could you print the back design onto the back of the front design of the business card or do you just have to glue them together?

Hi Meg! I have done everything as you showed exactly but my background will not follow no matter what I do. Additionally, all the text is out of place. It's like I have to redesign the whole thing from scratch. I really just want to print 4 per page of a flyer I've created. Is there any easier way to do that? All of this seems so unnecessary and cumbersome. Thanks for help!

Thank ever so much for the tutorial. I found this very helpful. I just have one question how would I do the back of the cards?

Is there a way to auto generate numbers on tickets in Canva? I used your fabulous technique to create a sheet of tickets and hand numbered them, but it seems like there has to be an easier way.

What if your background isn't one color? For example a wood background or something like that. Is there any way to copy that to move with your design, or can it only be if there is a single color?

Hi there, have you ever tried creating it using grid on Canva? I tried it for easy drag and drop printing, but the size result is a bit different, not sure how to do it properly.

I know the option exists to add crop marks on the outer corners of each page But Is it possible to add crop marks around each of the designs?
