Crawlers as a whole have come so far thanks to these rigs.

I'm still running one; but with the expandability of the platform, it can have portals, dig, locking diffs and rear steering, whatever else anyone could come up with.

Bought a pair of RTR Honchos recently, one for my wife, mine has a few upgrades but still looks stock. Very touch little machines, some very ingenious design has gone into them.

Depends on what you want to do. The SCX10 is great for trail runs and lower speed crawling. The Ridgecrest is a great basher meant for harsher terrain and higher speeds. The Ridgecrest is also more durable overall.

Really depends on what you want to do, and the terrain you have access to. Both are great rigs for their intended purpose. The Honcho is a great trail rig, and very capable as far as crawling goes. The Wraith is more of a high speed basher out of the box. It can handle rougher terrain because of the bigger tires, and it is built to withstand more abuse than the SCX10's.

It is designed for standard stick packs, but most R/C batteries will work.

The Honcho would work great for pulling a loaded trailer.

They are both essentially the same truck. The Honcho has a slightly longer wheelbase than the Dingo, that is really the only difference as far as the chassis goes.

Any battery will work fine. The standard 6 cell NiMH stick packs are probably the cheapest.

A shame they're so expensive in the UK - around £370, but then again, it's an axial. you get what you pay for, an extremely capable scale trail/crawler. I need to get one to compliment my original AX10 Scorpion :)

Best way to clean it is with compressed air, or wipe it down with a dry cloth.

It is not fully waterproof out of the box. There is a waterproofing tutorial on Axial's blog though that shows you what needs to be done to be fully waterproof.

Would this be good for a beginner?I've had cheap rc cars but nothing like this.I like that wraith jeep wrangler as well.

Jk has better slightly taller tyres. But I agree I prefer the look of the honch. I have the JK and I'm awaiting the arrival of my honcho body.
