Is a trip to Egypt worth it in 2024? Yes! Here are several reasons why! Obviously you want to see Cairo and the pyramids, but there is so much more to Egypt and Alexandria is one of these places. In this video I am going to show you, why it is worth visiting Alexandria, the 2nd largest city in Egypt! One of the reasons is, that it is not overly touristy and crowded. But it is also beautiful and you can see and learn more about Egypts history. On my trip, I visited Alexandria, Cairo, Giza, Memphis and Saqqara and there are so many other places, that I still haven't seen yet. Parts of Egypt might be underwhelming or over-hyped, but all in all, if you pick the right places and the right people to go together with, I promise you, you will have an amazing time!

I could get a chance for a closer look of Pompeii's Pillar, so as the Citadel, an image of ancient Egypt has immersed to my eyes through the interior and view.

I loved your Video! I feel bad that Egypt has a reputation with all the scams. Its a beautiful country, I feel people avoid travel there for this reason. As a male traveler, aside from the scammer, s I found the local people to be very nice and I had some great conversations with them. I would love to go back and visit some day. I have not bee to Alexandra yet, it looks so interesting and quite different that Cairo and southern Egypt.

Pompey's pillar is spectacular...so huge 😮❤❤ i use to visit it with some friends and we choose March or April so we can enjoy the little yellow wildflowers everywhere in the area 🌼🌼🌼🤎🤎
