Worth it Beef Noodle Soup spot in TAIPEI, Taiwan #honestreview #foodblog

Did you know beef noodle soup is considered an UNOFFICIAL national dish of Taiwan?! It became popular after many Chinese people immigrated to Taiwan and brought with them their cooking and it evolved into a Taiwanese dish that you can find all over Taiwan. I’m on a mission to eat as many different Taiwanese beef noodle soups as possible and here is one of our favorites:

BEEF NOODLE SOUP (with hand-pulled noodles)
RATING: 9.8/10 - It tastes like homemade goodness, LOVE the texture on the hand-pulled noodles, they were qq, bouncy, al dente, and the broth was savory, flavorful, not too salty. I wish I had extra time to re-visit this spot.
SPICY CHICKEN THIGH NOODLE (with ramen noodles)
RATING: 9.6/10 - The right amount of spicy, unique flavor, the CHICKEN was juicy, tender on the inside and has a nice crust on the outside, but I prefer the hand-pulled noodles over the ramen noodles. Next time I go, I’ll order this dish with the hand-pulled noodles!
PRO TIP: It’s a small shop with about 10-12 spots at the bar, it’s a one man show (at least when I went) The owner/bossman/chef spent some time in Hawaii and was pretty friendly towards us.
