owned both these cars, 2020 Shaker and 2018 Z. When we lined them up the RT always beat it the Z off the line as it was 8spd auto vs the manual in the Z, then they would run pretty much equal, don't know what would have happened had we kept going past 160 Km/hr

Liked them both but they were what I'd call entry level fast at best but I loved how the Z handled and the RT sounded so good even tho its slow by muscle car standards

Gotta love how every video like this has an intense battle between domestic V8 guys and JDM dudes in the comments. A dodge will have more grip at a drag strip where as it will get its ass kicked on any track by a Nissan Z chassis, both cars have their own distinct purpose in motorsport. Y'all need to stop flexin' on each other, leave that to cocky honda fanboys like me okay?

For real though. Domestics are big heavy boats with big engines(for the most part). JDM is usually medium to lightweight cars with medium to lightweight engines. But there's definitely more versatility in driving a slow car fast than there is driving a fast car slow. But everybody has their own preferences in the end, the experience of straight line performance can only be so fun after so many pulls, meanwhile ripping through a corner violently never fails to get the blood pumping. That's why I cheat the system and build a motor swapped turbo civic lol

I have a 435whp LS3 2ss and I worry a lot more about Z's than I do about RTs lmao RTs are for shits and laughs but 370Z's are for when I have to wake up and be alert 👀
