The meaning behind "End of the beginning" is that there will be more world events in the future. The first event is drawing to its end. So there...

Can anyone guess what was on the blurred monitor? ;)

Also, that concept art for October is looking incredible...

The world event did drag on a bit. I forgot it was supposed to have an endpoint. Should be interesting to see what happens after; I smell a multi-part 'Recipe for Didaster'-esque quest to rebuild Lumbridge and the surrounding area.

I'm guessing it was Missing, Presumed Death and then a divination D&D involving the keeping of the tree alive. They mentioned they were considering something like that recently, but that would be crazy fast developing for it to be released so soon. Just food for thought.

It's publicly-available information, but I first learned this number from a news article about RS3, where I actually spoke with the article's author, and he said that a Jagex representative mentioned that they have over ten million active players; F2P and subscriptions combined. That's a per-month number as well.

If by more node events you mean orange unstable nodes, then yes, there's tons of them now.

It wasn't blurred. It was a model for 8-bit RuneScape.

Good to see you're improving the next world event :)

They apparently saw the need to say it again, and I've seen many people thinking that Zamorak would be killed and some that would think Saradomin would become tier 2 or 1, both on the battlefield and the forums.
Yes, it could have been more clear. But it should have been more clear too that this is not a battle of Good vs Evil, where Zamorak is all-evil and Saradomin is all-good. That too seemed to come up often.

I hope its Armadyl vs Bandos in the next world event, if they're keeping it as it was with this event.

Yes I understand what it means, but has nowhere near the effect of, 'The beginning of the end, ' where it could've meant, this is the first of many catastrophic world events, which will result in 'The End.'

Not trying to sound rude, but I didn't say 10m online at once. I'm talking about roughly 10m active players per month, F2P and P2P combined. This was publicly stated, there was an article on Yahoo about RS3, and I spoke to the author about where he got that stat- he said that a Jagex representative said the official active player count is around 10m. Not to mention over 100k old accounts were reactivated, and roughly 300k new accounts created, just in the first month of RS3. Plus, you have OSRS.

Oh yeah! Can't wait to see the next event(s) and the next quest(s)!

Can't wait for the next few years of RS.. this game has such a bright future! :)

I really actually love how Lumbridge will stay in ruins and the crater will remain. It will be like a dramatic reminder - "This is where the gods fought; look at the destruction, wonder at the bloodshed."

I check up on the updates because I'm interested in how this whole sixth age thing plays out. I guess you can say I still play this game, cause I did log in for the World Wakes quest and Death of Chivalry.

Back in 2009-2010, RuneScape was at it's peak i reckon, it was perfect didn't need anything new, just new boss's and items :(
