This is a lovely soft and flavoursome cake. With ginger in the cake and rhubarb on the top, as well as a sweet gingery syrup, this is perfect as a cake or as dessert with cream or ice-cream.

I've ordered the ingredients for this but have a question.How do you prep' fresh rhubarb for this recipe? I presume it's just like when you do it for a crumble,
