Yep - I’m 60 years old and spent most of my youth in the 70’s with my feet dangling over the edge of a trash can looking for new gems for my beer can collection! A great hobby………👍

Dad was a bricklayer I remember the coffee truck showing up on site in the early 80's mid summer You had pop in ice And beer deep in the ice Pop was 45 or 50 cents beer $1 No credit on beer ....As a kid with the guys high up on the scoffolds They would throw down money with a here and there with "Keep the change" By the end of the day i bought me And my dad a heated chicken and potato dinner A beer and a coke..And then I keep the beer cans they threw down After 2 or 3 days onsite we got to the "Beer store" (federal owned) And get 5 or 10 cents a can 22 guys in the crew it added up pretty quick
