Vada Pav is more than food - it's an emotion.

I learned this during my 6 years in Mumbai.
This street food was born from the textile workers' needs. Mumbai showed such big dreams to these workers, that it left them no time to eat neither today, nor in the 1960s.

That's why outside Dadar station,
A street vendor named Ashok Vaidya started selling vada in pav with chutney, thus was born the Vada Pav.
Quick to make, filling to eat on the go.

I always thought as a Pakistani that bun kababs or paratha rolls were hard to ever top, but when i had a vadapav at a restaurant in Hyderabad (Sindh) that serves international street food, it opened my mind to indian street food. It felt so familiar and foreign at the same time ngl. A truly pleasant experience.

Y'all got some good food ngl. I wish there were restaurants/cafes at our borders so i could just go and eat some of your street food/dishes.
