Our bariatric surgery center has been accredited as a Comprehensive Center under the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP®), a joint program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).

Dr. Ryland Scott, a Harbin Clinic general and bariatric surgeon, was the first physician to establish a comprehensive surgical weight loss program in our area. In establishing this practice, he has developed a team approach to weight loss surgery that surrounds you with specially trained experts who provide compassionate care and medical expertise. Dr. Peter Adams, a Harbin Clinic surgeon, joined the Floyd Center for Bariatric Services team in 2017.
